Greetings to you in the wonderful and marvelous name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!

“While Blacks in this country were still living – and dying – under the yoke of slavery, they were reaching out across the seas with the freeing message of the Gospel. Thus, even before there was a National Baptist Convention, U.S.A., Inc., there was a Black foreign mission movement. The history of this movement and the formation of our denomination are interwoven; indeed they are so inseparable that it is impossible to study one without knowing the other.” Dr. William J. This correspondence comes to you as we launch, “Roll Call 2012”. Over the past two years, it served as a means for us to reach persons who desired to monetarily support and preserve the spirit of missions at our Annual Dr. William J. Harvey, III Fellowship Dinner. With your steadfast commitment, you embraced it by soliciting volunteers, engaging and educating your families, and communities on the importance of Foreign Missions, and because of this, the campaign has been a tremendous success. This year, while we are very grateful for your commitment to the dinner, the need for additional funding is greater than ever. We may not have been able to serve the thousands of people that we have were it not for your dedication, generosity of time, and energy to this end. It is our earnest prayer that the increase will multiply the resources needed for this historic institution, as we strive to foster Christian education, and spiritual outreach.

There are five levels of giving listed, but any, and all contributions received will be greatly appreciated. A form is enclosed which can be used to record donations. All names will still appear in our program, where we cherish precious memories of our history, our missionaries past and present, and a great man who tirelessly served our convention through The Foreign Mission Board and whose spirit lives on.

For 2012, there are several levels of support:

Diamond Contributor $350.00 • Platinum Contributor $200.00 • Gold Contributor $100.00

Silver Contributor $50.00 • Bronze Contributor $25.00
